Location Le Roc is located between the internationally famous equestrian town of Pompadour, and one of France's 'plus beaux villages' (most beautiful villages), Ségur Le Château. Just minutes from the well-known Dordogne region, Le Roc has the advantage of being situated in the relatively undiscovered apple and chestnut region of the Corrèze. The Corrèze forms part of the department of Limousin, at the top of the south-west corner of France and boasts a total of 6 of France's recognised "most beautiful villages". Positioned amidst fruit trees (apples, cherries, plums, pears....) set in plenty of open space with no immediate neighbours, it is such a delight to snooze under the dappled shade of the walnut tree, soothed by the sound of the nearby river Auvézère, or to just sit back and enjoy the views. ![]() Nearest shops, supermarkets, markets, restaurants, cafes and all other essential services can be found in Arnac-Pomapdour, just 3 miles away. There are further restaurants, cafes and markets and supermarkets in Lubersac (3.5 miles) and Ségur Le Château (4 miles). Without a doubt, there is nowhere more special to spend adult quality time than at Le Roc. An article in the Sunday Times highlights the unspoilt nature of this area Times Online
